Job Summary:
Under limited supervision, performs work that includes implementing and developing facilities work orders, investigating and troubleshooting facility/equipment/manufacturing problems, and reviewing facility drawings and designs during the construction phase and manufacturing phase.  His/her functions will also include interaction with internal customers and vendors to solve urgent and complex problems while evaluating alternatives and support of all in-plant production as required.  
 
  • Manage capital projects
  • Coordinate maintenance work request
  • Purchase tools and materials for maintenance team use
  • Issue maintenance contracts
  • Oversee preventative maintenance
  • Coordinate with General Contractor for building repairs
  • Assist Safety, Health & Environmental Team with technical information regard building equipment
  • Approve/Coordinate/Complete work orders
  • Assist in record keeping
  • Maintaining day to day status of fire alarm system
  • Respond to urgent request and organizing labor teams to complete these urgent request
  • Organizing and purchasing spare parts
 
Qualifications:
  • B.S. in Engineering preferred (Mechanical, Facilities, Construction, Maintenance)
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in complex mechanical assembly, tooling, and manufacturing facilities
  • Proficient with CAD drafting
  • Excellent communication skills: verbal, written, presentation
